Biography

Ice hockey forward Josef Schwitzer participated in the 1968 Grenoble and 1976 Innsbruck Winter Olympics. His teams were eliminated in the group stages on both occasions. In total, he won 60 international caps, scoring 18 goals and 19 assists. Domestically, Schwitzer played with Innsbrucker EV (later renamed ECS Innsbruck).
