Biography

Walter Steinegger was an Austrian ski jumper participating in the 1952 Oslo and the 1960 Squaw Valley Winter Olympics. He was placed 14th and 16th respectively in the large hill events. At the 1957/58 Four Hills Tournament he came third as his best international result, having finished fifth the previous year.
