Biography

Ludwik Synowiec was a Polish ice hockey player. Synowiec played for multiple teams in Poland and Germany from 1977 to 1995. He played for 12 seasons in the Polish league, playing in 437 matches, scoring 37 goals.

From 1979 to 1986 Synowiec played in 82 international matches for Poland, including five World Championships. He represented Poland twice at the Winter Olympics, first at the 1980 Lake Placid Olympics, and then at the 1984 Sarajevo Olympics. The Polish team finished in seventh and eighth places, respectively.

Synowiec graduated from the Gliwice University of Technology as a mining engineer and metallurgist. He was awarded with the Masters of Sports in 1981, and the Bronze Medal for Outstanding Sports Achievements in 1985.
