Biography

In his only international appearance, Walter Ullrich played ice hockey at the 1936 Winter Olympics. He was from the German part of what became Czechoslovakia. His career lasted from 1929 to 1951, playing with multiple clubs. A center, he started with Troppauer EV, then joined Vitkovice SSK in 1930. His long, itinerant career saw him play with Slovan Moravska Ostrava, Chomutov DFK, Olomuoc DS, Praha City, Slovan Moravska Ostrava, Düsseldorfer EG and Krefelder EV in Germany, Bratislava ES, Bratislava City, and Lions OK and Neuchâtel Sprinters HC in Switzerland.
