Biography

Reed Zuehlke was US champion on the normal hill in 1982 and at the 1983 World Winter University Games, placed fourth on normal hill. His best World Cup finish was a sixth in 1979 at Lake Placid. He learned from his father, Keith, who was a top US ski jumper in the 1950s. Zuehlke studied business at the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire, and later earned an MBA in international business from DePaul. Zuehlke then worked with United Airlines from 1986-2003 as Information Technology Director. He left United to become President of Aidant Systems, a technology consulting company, which provided services to The Home Depot and General Electric. In 2005 he joined Synthesis MD as Vice-President and Chief Information Officer, and also formed his own company that year, zTek, Inc., a technology company that provides timing, video, and results data services for international sports.
