Cycling Road at the 1924 Summer Olympics

Dates 23 – 23 July 1924
Medal Events 2

The road cycling program was the same as it would be at every Olympics from 1920-56 – a single road race that awarded both individual and team medals. The road race began and ended near the Stade Olympique de Colombes, and was conducted as an individual time trial over 188 km. The team segment consisted of four riders for each nation with the three best times of the four riders to count towards the team time. Armand Blanchonnet won the individual gold medal and led his France to victory in the team race.
