Biography

Tom Rothrock was an Alpine skier who competed at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. He was mainly a technical skier, and skied slalom at Salt Lake City. Rothrock had two podium finishes at the US Championships in giant slalom, with a silver in 2002 and a bronze in 2004.

Rothrock skied the NorAm circuit in North America, winning four races in his career, with 17 podiums. He also skied in European Cup races, where he had one win and six podiums. He was on the US Ski Team from 1999-2007 and then retired. Rothrock became an orthopaedic sales representative, first for Biomet and then with DJO.
