Biography

Haidar Abdul-Razzaq was an Iraqi footballer who played as a defender. He began his football career with the Talaba youth team in 1995. In domestic matches, Abdul-Razzaq last played for Sulaymaniya SC from 2012 to 2014. Between 2001 and 2007, Abdul-Razzaq played in 24 matches for the national team, making his début against Lebanon. He was part of the squad that finished in fourth place at the 2004 Athens Olympics and won the AFC Asian Cup in 2007. In June 2022, Abdul-Razzaq was killed when a group of five men attacked him in the district of Al-Qadisiyah in Baghdad.
