Roman Fricke was a German high jumper who participated at the 2004 Athens Olympics but was eliminated in the qualification round. In 2003 and 2004 he won the German national title and in 2003-04, 2006 the German indoor titles. Fricke later became a full-time coach with athletics clubs Bayer 04 Leverkusen and SV Werder Bremen.
