Annika Suthe was a German javelin thrower participating at the 2004 Athens Olympics. She did not reach the final and finally placed 21st. She won a gold medal in 2005 and a silver medal in 2007 at the U23 European Championships. Suthe later turned to handball and played with Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the German Bundesliga. She became a physiotherapist by profession.
