Biography
Werner Bieri won the Swiss K2 10,000 metres with KC Romanshorn clubmate Werner Müller in 1952, which gained them a selection to compete at the Olympic Games in Helsinki where the pair finished 16th in a field of 18 others. He continued to compete in domestic championships throughout the 1950s, winning the seniors’ class title in the K1 500 metres in the 1957 and 1958 National Championships.
