Biography

Arthur Blickenstorfer was one of Switzerland’s leading jumping riders in the 1960s and 1970s. He won only one Swiss title (1965), but was victorious at the CSIO in Geneva several times. He also won the Grand Prix of Nations in 1963 and the 1979 Grand Prix of Rome. Blickenstorfer owned his own stables, and his son Kurt was a medalist at the European Junior Championships in 1981.
