Born in Reims, France in 1910 Marcel Pesch had a brief career as a cyclist in Luxembourg in the late 1920s. In 1928 Pesch was selected to represent Luxembourg at the Amsterdam Olympics in the road race, but he did not finish the course. He had better success a year later when he won the Grand Prix François Faber one-day race.
