A. D. Frazier was an American lawyer and business executive who served as the chief operating officer for the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games. Frazier began his career working as a lawyer at C&S Bank in Atlanta. In 1977 he managed the inauguration of President Jimmy Carter, including organising Carter’s White House and Executive Office. In 1996 Frazier led the organisation of the Atlanta Olympics, which were largely deemed a financial success, and was awarded with the Olympic Order in Gold in the same year. After the Olympics he had several other high-profile roles, including serving as the chair and CEO of the Chicago Stock Exchange.
