Biography

Hungarian equestrian Mihály Oláh finished in first place at the 1966 National Dressage Championship in Kecskemét, and became the Eastern Hungarian dressage and jumping champion in the following year. During the late 1960s and early 1970s he had multiple top-three finishes at equestrian events across Hungary.

In 1972 Oláh was part of the team that won the regional championship and a bronze medal at the Hungarian championships in 1973. Three years later he won silver at the regional championships and was also a member of the military national team. Oláh competed in the three-day competition at the 1980 Moskva Olympics, but was disqualified during the cross-country element and was not placed.
