Biography

Guenter Seidel rode dressage at the 1996, 2000, and 2004 Olympics, winning a bronze each time in the team dressage. Seidel also won a team silver medal the 2002 World Equestrian Games, and won silver at the 1995 Pan American Games in team dressage. He added a team bronze medal at the 2006 World Equestrian Games.

Seidel was born in Germany but came to the United States in 1985, and later obtained US citizenship. His full-time job was teaching dressage and training riders and horses.
