Biography

German show jumper Sören von Rönne was a member of the team at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics which finished a disappointing 11th. Individually, he was eliminated after the first round of the final round. In 1994, he won the team gold medal at the World Championships and added an individual bronze. He also won a team bronze at the 2001 Europeans.

Von Rönne later became a graduated economist and tax consultant. He lived in Neuendeich at his own stud farm, and earned a living from breeding, training and horse sales. He was married to Danish dressage rider Charlotte Lund.
