Biography

Dante Benvenuti was one of Argentina’s top road cyclists in the post-war years. He competed in the road race at the 1948 Olympics and represented his country twice at World Championships. In 1949, he won the American Championships, finishing second the next year. He later became a coach of the national team, among others during the 1960 and 1964 Olympics. His son, Osvaldo, later also became a cyclist.
