Biography

Born into lesser circumstances, Bernard Darmet persevered to become a top French pursuiter. He won the French amateur individual pursuit title in 1967-69 and 1971-72, placing second in 1969. In 1969 he rode on the third-placed team in the French team pursuit championships for amateurs.
