Biography

Bulgarian cyclist Kanyu Dzhambazov was selected to represent his country at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Dzhambazov competed in the road race where he was in the main peloton of more than 20 riders who tied for 16th place, just three seconds behind the winning time. After World War II he competed at the 1947 Balkan Games in Sofia where he won gold with T. Dishev in the 20-lap tandem race.
