Danish cyclist Flemming Gleerup Hansen was active during the mid-1960s. As a youth rider Hansen won gold in the team time trial and bronze in the road race at the Nordic Championships. Two years later, now as a senior, he won gold in the team time trial at the Nordic Championships to earn himself a place on the Olympic team. At the Tokyo Games he placed seventh in the team time trial and 21st in the individual road race. In 1965 Hansen won bronze in the team time trial at the Danish national championships.
