Biography

Austrian road cyclist Roman Humenberger participated in the individual road race at the 1972 München and the 1976 Montréal Olympics. He came 14th and 21st respectively. With the Austrian 100 km time trial team he placed tenth and 15th, respectively.

Nationally, Humenberger won the Austrian cross-country title in 1967. Between 1968 and 1974 he added four national titles in the 100 km team time trial. In 1967 and 1968 Humenberger won the Burgenland Tour and the Niederösterreich Tour in 1970 and 1974. In 1971 he also won the Austria Tour. After his career he worked as a gilder at Innsbruck.
