Biography

Austrian cyclist Karl Krenauer participated in the 1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympics. He was eliminated in the first round of the individual track pursuit. Krenauer also competed in the 100 km team time trial and came 11th. He won seven national track titles: in 1978 and 1984 in the points race, from 1981-84 in the individual pursuit, and in 1983 in the team pursuit. In 1982, Krenauer enjoyed his finest moment by winning the silver medal in the points race at the World Championships.
