Biography

Anton Kuys was a Dutch cyclist who represented the Residentie Rijders Club in Den Haag during the late 1920s and early 1930s. In 1928 Kuys was selected to compete at his home Olympics in Amsterdam. While he did not finish the course in the individual road race, the Netherlands placed ninth overall in the combined team event. In 1930 Kuys won the Den Haag–Bruxelles one-day race.

Errata

Listed as Antonius A. Kuys (1898-1982) in Bijkerk's books, but according to his son, his father never was a cyclist.
