Francky Ombanzi was a cyclist who represented the Democratic Republic of the Congo in the late 1960s and early 1970s. In 1968 Ombanzi was selected to ride in the team time trial at the Mexico City Olympics, where he finished 30th with his compatriots. After the Games he won the President of the Republic’s Grand Prix from a decisive breakaway and rode in the Tour of Madagascar.
