Biography

Danish cyclist Arne Petersen was active during the 1930s and was selected to compete at the Berlin Olympics. At the Games, Petersen competed in the road race where he was in the main peloton of more than 20 riders who tied for 16th place, just three seconds behind the winning time. After the Olympics he represented the German team Victoria for several years, riding in three editions of the Tour of Germany from 1937 to 1939.
