Biography

Jeffrey Spencer was a track sprinter who competed in the match sprint and tandem sprint at the 1972 Olympics. He later attended Southern Cal earning an MA in physical education in 1975. Spencer then attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles, graduating in 1988. He also became a fitness consultant, especially to cyclists. Spencer writes columns and articles on fitness and health issues for various cycling magazines. He has authored two books Total Training for Motocross and Total Taping. He also became heavily involved in a hobby, which is glass blowing and glass sculpturing, with his works displayed at the Ankrum Gallery, Los Angeles; Laguna Beach Art Museum; La Jolla Art Museum; Zantman Gallery, Carmel; and Glass Gallery, Bethesda, Maryland.
