Max Wechsler was a Swiss cyclist who had a brief career in the early 1960s. In 1960 Wechsler was selected to compete in the individual road race at the Roma Olympics, finishing 65th. Later that year he finished second at the Zurich championship amateur race before turning professional, riding in races until 1962. Sadly Wechsler was only 39-years-old when he died in January 1978.
