Biography

At the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, West German track cyclist Ingo Wittenborn was overtaken in the first round of the individual pursuit by Frenchman Pascal Robert and was eliminated from the event. The same year Wittenborn won his only national title in the individual pursuit. He later became a sales representative with bicycle-related companies.
