Austrian track and road cyclist Kurt Zellhofer participated in the 1980 Moskva (Moscow) and 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. He was disqualified during the 1980 road race. Four years later he finished 34th and was eliminated in the first round of the points race on the track.
In 1983, Zellhofer won the Tours of Austria and Israel. In 1980 and 1986 he was a member of the track pursuit teams that won the Austrian national titles.
