Biography

In 1960 Guy Debbaudt represented Belgium in the field hockey tournament at the Roma Olympics. Debbaudt played in four matches at the Games, scoring a goal in Belgium’s 1–1 draw against Great Britain in the group stage. In addition to playing for the Belgian hockey club La Rasante he also represented the Brazilian national team in 21 matches from 1954 to 1961. Debbaudt was living in Brazil at the time of his death in September 2025.
