Biography

Arthur Law was a hockey wing-half or inside forward. He played for Colwyn Bay and was in the West of North Wales team that beat the East 8-2 at Llandudno in 1907. He was selected for the Wales team at the 1908 London Olympics, by which time he had moved to the new Denbigh club Trefnant, only formed in the 1905/06 season. Law won a bronze medal at the London Games after Wales finished equal third. He made his international début in Wales’ 3-1 defeat by Ireland.
