Biography

Christina Moser and the West German female field hockey team won the silver medal at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics round-robin tournament, finishing with six points. She was also World Champion in 1981, and silver medalist in 1978. In addition, she was European Indoor Champion in 1977 and 1981, and won the bronze medal at the 1984 Europeans. She won 164 international caps (including 22 indoor) between 1977-87.

Domestically, Moser played, like her elder sister, the non-Olympian Petra, with SC Brandenburg. In 1986, 1988 and 1989 she helped Brandenburg to win the German Indoor Championship and in 1990 the European Cup of Indoor Champions. By profession, she became a social worker at Berlin.
