Biography

Italian field hockey player Luigi Farci was on the team that won four national championships from 1953 to 1960. At his home Olympics in Roma in 1960 Farci played in all five of Italy’s matches during the tournament, with the team finishing in 13th place. He was later inducted into the Italian Field Hockey Hall of Fame.
