Biography

Aleksander Ciążyński was a hockey striker who competed at the 1972 München Olympics for Poland. He was also on the Polish team at the 1970 European Championships. Ciążyński was on the national team from 1962-72, earning 30 international caps. Domestically he played for Sparta Gniezno and, during his military service, WKS Grunwald Poznań, winning the Polish Championships with them in 1966. Ciążyński graduated from vocational school and worked as a locksmith-turner.
