Biography

Diane Bracalente played college hockey at Old Dominion University, helping them win three NCAA Championships. Bracalente was named first-team All-American as a sophomore and earned honorable mention honors her senior year. Bracalente played on the US National team from 1985-88, competing at four US Olympic Festivals, and winning a silver medal at the 1987 Pan American Games. She later became a mother and a coach, coaching the WC Eagles, a club program near Philadelphia. Bracalente was inducted into the Old Dominion Hall of Fame in 1991, and is also a member of the Bucks County Hall of Fame (Pennsylvanina).
