Trevor Fernandes

Trevor Fernandes started playing hockey in Tanzania, had a stint with the national team, and later played hockey for 2½ years with the All-India University Team. After emigrating to the United States, Fernandes earned a bachelors’ degree from the University of Washington in 1981, and then studied computer programming at North Seattle College. Fernandes received US citizenship shortly before the 1984 Olympics, which enabled him to play for the US team in Los Angeles.
