Biography
Claus Gerson played hockey for the US at the 1948 London Olympics. Gerson represented the New York Tennis and Hockey Club. From Jackson Heights, Long Island in 1948, Gerson was born in Hamburg, Germany coming to the United States as a teenager and naturalized as a US citizen in 1939 alongside his parents. Gerson fought for the US in World War II.
