Biography
Dutch foil fencer Adriana Admiraal-Meijerink was born in Haarlem in June 1893. Admiraal-Meijerink made her first of two Olympic appearances at the 1924 Paris Games where she finished fifth in her pool with only the top three progressing. Four years later she competed at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics with her advancing to the semi-finals. Admiraal-Meijerink was 98-years-old when she died in May 1992.
