Judy Goodrich competed at the 1956 Olympics when she was only a 17-year-old high school student. She later attended Michigan State University, graduating in 1961. Goodrich was Michigan women’s foil champion in 1954-56, was Midwest champion in 1955-56, and won the women’s Metropolitan champion in 1956.
