Biography

Walo Hörning was a career soldier, reaching the rank of colonel, and serving with the Swiss army from 1954-73. After he retired from the military he served as a member of two Swiss federal commissions related to aeronautics and aeriel navigation. He was also a member of Rotary from 1956 until his death.
