Biography

Hjalmar Christoffersen played as a forward for BK Frem from 1906 and in between just one season for Østerbros Boldklub. At the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm, Denmark had a bye in round one and defeated Norway and the Netherlands convincingly to reach the final. Here the lost 4-2 to Great Britain (England) winning Olympic silver. Christoffersen only played in the first match against Norway. This was also his only appearance for the Danish national team.

Christoffersen worked as a machine operator. He was married to Madelene Louise Lebarbier.
