Biography

Tom Burn played at right-back for the 1912 Olympic team. While with the London Caledonians, he won 12 amateur international caps in the seasons immediately prior to the First World War. In 1920 he toured South Africa with a Football Association and it believed that he eventually emigrated to South Africa.

It has been widely reported that Burn had been killed in action during the First World War but that was proved to be false and the footballer was still alive in the late forties.
