Biography

Giustiniano Marucco was born in the small town of Maggiora (in Novara province), and played for only two clubs: Novara Calcio from 1920-26 and 1928/29, and for Juventus FC in 1927/28, appearing in about 100 matches, scoring 30 goals. He also played in two matches at the 1920 Olympics.

After the end of his playing career, Marucco was very engaged with work and was director of SAINA (Società Anonima Industria Nazionale Aiellesi) in Aielli, in southern Italy, until his tragic death in a car accident at only 43-years-old.
