Biography

Moroccan footballer Ahmed Bel Korchi was one of the best goalkeepers to play for Kawkab Marrakech in the 1970s. Bel Korchi also represented the national team and was part of the squad that played in the 1972 African Cup of Nations before being named in Morocco’s squad for the München Olympics. At the Games, however, he only played the last 45 minutes of their final match, a 5–0 defeat to Poland in the semi-finals.
