Biography

Midfielder Zdeněk Pičman played most of his career with Spartak Hradec Králové, where he played from 1956-68 and with them won the 1960 Czechoslovakian title. Before playing with Hradec Králové, Pičman had competed for PDA Plzeň, PDA Otavan Písek and Dynamo Praha and finished his career by playing with SK Týniště nad Orlicí. He was capped once with the Czechoslovakian national team in 1964 and was also on the 1964 Czechoslovakian Olympic team that won a silver medal. At the Olympics, Pičman took part in the first four Czechoslovakian matches, but did not play in the semi-final or final.
