Biography

Andy Straden played for Fleisher Yarn in the 1924-25 American Soccer League (ASL) season. In 1925 he started the season with the Shawsheen Indians but that team folded and he ended up playing with the New York Giants. Straden retired from competitive soccer after playing two games with the Giants in the 1926-27 season. Straden earned four caps with the US national team, two at the Olympics, and two in exhibitions after the Olympics against Poland and Ireland.
