Euryleonis was the second woman to win a title at the Ancient Olympic Games, after Kyniska of Sparta in 396 and 392 BCE. Women did not compete at the Ancient Olympics but Euryleonis was apparently the owner of her equestrian team, and the awards were given to the owners.
