Biography
Astrid Beckers was a member of the West German female gymnastics team that finished a respectable fourth at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. She also placed 23rd in the individual all-around but missed the apparatus finals. She participated in the 1981 and 1983 World Championships, placing ninth and eighth respectively with the team. Beckers never won a West German national title.
