Biography

Brigitta Lehmann was a member of the West German female gymnastics team that finished a respectable fourth at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. She also placed 31st in the individual all-around but missed all the apparatus finals except the horse vault, where she finished sixth. Lehmann won her only West German national title in the horse vault in 1983. She later married modern pentathlete Christian Sandow. By profession, she worked as a head of department with the Berliner Turn- und Freizeitsportbund.
